About Us
How it all started
The practice opened in February 2019. However, it all started in 2014 after our wedding in Bowmore. We noticed that people on Islay have poor access to NHS dental care and we took it upon ourselves to move here in 2015 to provide the dental care everyone needed.

iTero 5D -
The first hybrid dental imaging system that simultaneously records 3D, intraoral colour and NIRI images for caries detection without using x-rays. This enables comparison over time using iTero time-lapse technology.

The team
Islay and Jura dental practice is part of a program that allows trainee dentists to gain experience at only the best dental practices in Scotland, approved by NHS education (NES). NES insures that trainees gain enough experience to become a professional in their field allowing them to work at a variety of dental practices after the training is done.
Other members of the team are employed locally.
